Programme
The EuroTeX'98 conference will take place in several stages:
- A set of tutorials will be given on Sunday, March 29th. For
the detailed programme, click here.
- The main conference will be given on Monday and Tuesday, March
30-31st. It will include 21 papers, 2 invited talks and a poster session.
The detailed programme and the time table may be found by clicking here.
- Other tutorials organized within the WEPT conferences are also open to EuroTeX participants.

Proceedings
The EuroTeX'98 Proceedings will be published in a double issue of the
magazine Cahiers
GUTenberg.
These Proceedings will be available at the conference. Later they will be
sent to subscribers
of the Cahiers GUTenberg, and put on sale to the general public.

Facilities
- During the entire WEPT week, an Internet room will be at the disposal
of participants who wish to read and reply to their e-mail.
- Books
sold by GUTenberg (and the Cahiers) will be available at special EuroTeX
rates.
A bookseller will also be present on Tuesday March 31st for books on typography
and electronic documents.
- Participants may submit poster presentations for the Monday
and/or the Tuesday conference. Please refer to the original Call For Papers for possible subjects.
Each poster presenter will be provided with a mounting area, measuring
90 cm x 120 cm (approximately 3 feet x 4 feet). Plan your exhibit to fit
this space. You are encouraged to put your display up at 09.00, and leave
it up for the day. Plan to spend some time at your display at the end of
the afternoons. Use illustrations and lettering that can be read from 4
to 6 feet away.
Use the registration form to
send us the subject and abstract of your proposed poster presentation.

Social events
- To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the foundation of GUTenberg, a
buffet dinner and show will be organized on Monday 30th.
This dinner is offered at no charge to all participants registered for
the Monday conference. Accompanying persons, or participants arriving on
Monday evening, may attend the dinner; please fill in the registration
form.
- A choice between two tours will be offered on Wednesday
April 1st:
- a visit to the Mont Saint-Michel
and its Abbey, which will also take us through Dol de Bretagne and Cancale,
- or a visit of the Mont Saint-Michel Library
of medieval books in Avranches.
The expected time of return to Saint-Malo is 1.00 PM,
therefore it is impossible to take both tours. Lunch will be included.
Should there not be enough participants for one of these visits, it may
be canceled and participants automatically registered for the other.
Participants and accompanying persons may sign up for these visits using
the registration form.
An all-day visit to both the Mont Saint-Michel and the Library will also
take place on Saturday 4th April for EP'98 participants.
