Registration to EuroTeX'98 (conference or tutorials)

EuroTeX'98 registration fees

• Fees for registration to the tutorials on Sunday March 29th cover:
  • attendance at the specific tutorial,
  • course notes,
  • coffee/tea breaks,
  • lunch;

• Fees for registration to the conference itself, on Monday 30th and Tuesday 31st March:
  • attendance at the conference,
  • proceedings published in the Cahiers GUTenberg,
  • coffee/tea breaks,
  • lunches,
  • GUTenberg 10th birthday buffet dinner on Monday evening.

• A special package is offered, for the period from Sunday morning to Wednesday afternoon. This fixed fee include all of the above, plus one of the tours organized on Wednesday (the Mont Saint-Michel or the Library in Avranches) including lunch.

The registration fees do not include dinners on Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday, nor hotel charges.

• Additional meals may be ordered for accompanying persons.

• Excepting for the persons who take the package, registrations to the Wednesday April 1st visits for participants or accompanying persons are taken separately; again, lunch will be included.

Members of any TeX Users Group (GUTenberg, TUG, UKTUG, NTG, Dante, CyrTUG, CSTUG, GUST, etc) get a discount of FF 100 on the above fees, which include a GUTenberg membership for one year at a reduced rate.

Students

Thanks to the Imprimerie Louis-Jean, students are offered a 50 % discount on all fees. Copy of a valid student ID card must be provided when registering.
This discount applies to all services offered to participating students for the conference and tutorials, including meals and social events; it does not apply to accompanying persons.

Hotels: bookings at hotels close to the Palais du Grand Large should be made separately from the conference and tutorials registration (see below). Students are asked to kindly pay their hotel accomodation in full. During the conference, students should bring their hotel bills to the EuroTeX office; GUTenberg will then refund 50 % of the amount of each invoice, up to a limit of FF 100 per night and per person.

Registration procedure

Participants to the EuroTeX'98 conference and/or tutorials should complete a registration form:

by normal mail: complete and sign the registration form and return it together with full payment to:

directly online. Full payment should be sent by normal mail.

Pre-registration is recommanded using these forms, either online, by fax or email. Registrations without payment or purchase order will not be accepted.

Final deadline for EuroTeX'98 registration : March 13th, 1998.
(new deadline, please ignore the deadline posted on the pdf registration form)

Payment

All payments should be made in French currency:

• by order form (for French, Belgium and Swiss delegates only). Purchase orders should be enclosed with the registration form.
• by check drawn on a French bank, or Eurocheque, in French Francs (no foreign checks please). Payment by check should be made payable to "GUTenberg", and enclosed with the registration form.
• by bank transfer to the Banque Populaire, Région Ouest de Paris,

  Please make sure your bank debits your account with all charges for the transfer. We cannot accept partially remitted payments which have been reduced by fees taken from our bank.

• by credit card. Please indicate on the registration form that you want to pay by credit card and fill in the credit card information.
  Accepted cards: Visa, Eurocard, Mastercard.

In all cases, an invoice will be issued in return.

Cancellation

Fees will be returned in full for any written cancellation received before March 20, 1998 (date of postmark). No refunds will be made for cancellations received after this date.

Hotels

Participants should reserve their own accommodation. Preferential rates have been negociated with hotels close (within 15 minutes walk) to the "Palais du Grand Large" (where WEPT takes place). GUTenberg will refund part of these fees for students (as explained previously)
